Title Process design of 40000 tons / year CO2 recovery and utilization
of tail gas from power plant
Abstract
At present, China's power plant flue gas treatment process is not perfect, many power plant flue gas only after desulfurization and denitrification will be discharged into the atmosphere, which not only caused a waste of resources, but also caused environmental pollution.
The purpose of this design is to design a kind of adsorption process of carbon dioxide in the flue gas of power plant using mesoporous alumina. The process recover 40000 tons of carbon dioxide every year, using temperature swing adsorption. The design of the adsorption device has 4 adsorption towers at any time and 6 columns of the adsorbent regeneration. 12 towers work alternately in order to achieve continuous separation and purification of carbon dioxide.
I studied the process operation of temperature swing adsorption, then I calculate the material balance and heat balance, After that,the four main equipment of the air blowe, heat exchangers, steam water separator, absorption tower and buffer tank are calculated and selected.Then, I made a calculation for the pipes. I drew material flow chart, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment layout, piping layou and so on.
